Review from Bearded Theory 2015

The scintillating delights of the uv decor in the Magical Sounds Tent at Bearded Theory Festival was often surpassed by the ecstatic beats from a spectacular range of artists. Plenty of wonders to behold round the rest of the festival but the obvious focus was for the psychedelic music and gutted to have only made it there on Saturday. However once the revelation came to me that people wear beards at Bearded Theory and the added weirdness of the pirate theme to be blinked at, it became clear that the fine detail in everything from the music to the decor to the audience itself made a wondrous display and aural adventure for all.

Eat Static played an astounded selection with never heard before sounds on two occasions and the effect of Green Nuns of the Revolution on the crowd was incredible. Cosmosis and Ed Tangent played as ever cracking sets. What a crew, what a crowd, what a festival. Well done Bearded. Next time I will take a beard.... Jackie Anderson 25 May 2015
