We are going to be running a dj competition for a chance to play a set with the faeriepirates

The show is going to be having a Dj competion over the next few weeks

All budding Dj's who are unsigned if you think you have what it takes to get our listeners partying then why not send us a mix.We are going to be playing three mixes a each week and you the listener get to vote. Do you want to have a live set recorded for the show. Also you get to play a guest set and next years Black Pearl Party August Bank Holiday 2014.

Updates will be put up each week so keep checking in. There will also be a mystery prize for the winner.

We are looking for 3 Dj's to play with the faeriepirates at The Black Pearl Party August 2014 

There will be three available slots: Full-on, Progressive and Chillout.

You can be any age and gender, but you must be an unsigned DJ.

There will also be some prizes which will be donated from various companies to be announced.

We already have a few great prizes lined up

   including T.shirts, clothes and goodybags.

So all you have to do is send in a mix mp3 of around 60mins

Not only will you have a set with the faeriepirates but your mix will also be played on the show and you might even get a a label to pick you up.

The competition starts today October 1st and finishes January 31st.

The listeners will get to vote for their favorite mix so get producing now for the chance to win a great set with some of the best Psytrance Djs around.

A very big thank you to all the support the show has had since its first week. We now have listeners all over the world. Our show's are gathering more and more listeners each week.

The purpose of this webpage is to either enlighten or inform our listeners of the delights of psytrance.

Coming soon this page will give you a complete list of our Dj's and where they are playing next or if they have a new mix out.

This weeks Dj's mixes are really up lifting tunes to take you into the weekend followed by a very rare chillout mix to finish the show.
The first mix on the show this week is by Dj AZADEE of Tandava Records

 The second mix is by contineum.

Contineum is the joint project of Dj Miff (a.k.a Matt) & Razzek (a.k.a Kezza).
Originally started a solo project back in 2008 by Matt who's musical background comes from dirty DnB and hip hop. Matt joined the psychedelic circle when he went to an indoor festival called Rave and fell in love with the raw texture and psychedelia and so started working his way up the circuit, Djing and producing alongside names like Mechanimal, Sinerider, Aphid Moon, Saga etc and then founding the label Mutagen Records.
Razzek started Djing back in 2000, after moving to Goa and getting sucked into the lucid psy cosmos and quickly becoming a regular headline act in the party scene as well as around india, being known for his ability to not only work the dance floor but creating an atmosphere that swallows you up and spits you back out. Then heading back to the UK where he started producing and Djing round the UK along side acts like, Tron, Eat Static, Raja Ram, Rinkadink and Shane Gobi.
In 2011 they combine forces under the Contineum name to take the project to the next level. With Matt's knowledge of synthesis and Kezza's knowledge of sound engineering they worked together to bring the dance floor into a psychedelic soup of sound, making you weak at the legs and craving more. With many releases already under the belt and backed by both Mutagen and Maharetta Records, they push forward into the unexplored Contineum of space bringing you the hypnotic and exotic rhythms designed with one thing in mind!!!
The style of deep rolling baseline's, driving techie percussion and exotic chaotic sounds plays on the senses and introduces the mind to new planes of existence making Contineum a name to look out for.

  Sophia came to London in 2003 and very soon after arriving she was taken to her first underground Psy-Trance party. That's when her love for psy-trance began.
  As she went to more parties and heard different styles her taste started becoming more and more defined. In 2005 she heard a progressive psy-trance set by Bedouin and she instantly knew that this was her preferred sound.

  As her passion for progressive trance grew stronger so did also her desire to learn how to mix.
  

  

  • In 2010 she played her first gig at Cosmo festival, alongside Bedouin as their new tribal progressive b2b duo "Bedders and Svess".
    The duo has played at parties and festivals such as; Acid Monkey, Omnicience, Planet Bob, the Gooseberry Tree and Waveform.
    Now she is setting off on her own solo progressive journey. Svess sets can be described as energetic, deep, clean and melodic with some tribal influences. Every track in her set has been carefully picked and she's always on the search for that next unique track!
    Svess also has a passion for chill out and her chill out sets will take you on a journey through soothing, deep, groovy and upbeat rythms

Will has been DJing since the mid noughties, concentrating on progressive psy, but dabbling in full on also. Whilst at university houseparties and afterparties he gained a love for this djing this music, having been attending parties in london and edinburgh from the early 2000's. Influences and favourite artists include Nerso and Flegma, Optiloop/Loopstep, Sonic Species, Sideform, Symbolic
 

The faeriepirates are having there very last outdoor weekend its called Samhain this event is a donation event so what we have decided to do is produce a limited edition Faeriepirates T.Shirt for Samhain 2013. All you have to do if you would like to join us at the event,instead of giving us a donation £15 including postage and registration as a full member of the faeriepirates
The Psycadelic Temple of Shiva will be errected to celebrate the
Celtic Fire Festival of Samhain on Friday 1st November 2013 to
bring in the celtic new year. Bring out yer dead! A notice board
will be suitably placed upon which any one can attach a photo of
any deceased loved one as we remember and acknowledge our ancestors
who have walked this earth before us. The core of the celebration
is the death of the old year and the birth of the new, but please
feel free to research and add your touch.
