Things just keep getting better on the show

Well some much excitement ahead we are going to be sponsoring next years Blackpearl which will move up to a festival. Bringing many art forms together. We aim to give you the whole experience  the in realm of earthly delights.

Its all about psytrance and its surrounding lifestyles from fabrics to food to colours and clothes. Including dance,art,street theatre to film.

We are a small band of people who all share the very same paths. Bringing together once a year some of the best DJs

 producers musicians and creative artists from all over the world.This will be set in a wonderful North Wales location surrounding by beautiful countryside. We don't think there has been a festival in North Wales as yet so hope to create a long term event. We will we also bring in local crafts and goods to complement this amazing boutique festival. So if you have a stall or craft you would like to bring to this festival then please email with all details. We are not charging traders at the event as we believe as a not for profit org is we all grow and each year add a little something to the festival as a whole we will all benefit in the success of such a beautiful space.

We are going to be bring you some great shows over the next couple of months with a flavour of this summers festivals party's and events all in the name of psytrance.

We are certaintly going placing next year with our very own radio road show coming to various events next year.
Well summer is certainly hotting up we have managed to record some fantastic shows which will be aired of the coming months. We have some shows coming from Bearded Theory.Sunrise,Noisily,Blackpearl to name a few. Also it looks like we might well be heading out to India for a few months so hope to bring you all some great tunes.

We are now aired on Diceradio Greece and coming soon to EarthDanceRadio UK. Since our very first show May 2013 we have grown into a great show with our worldwide audience and free ticket giveaways we aim to get even more for next year on a worldwide basis. Coming this week two more great mixes for dj's/producers from around the psytrance world.
First up tonight is a taster of a young dj who we believe with a little time will be wicked. So we have decided to play a 30min mix from a live recording we did at one of our local events so we do hope you like his totally banging full-on tunes certaintly one to watch for the future.

Hello to one and all I do hope your summer is hotting up like ours. We have some great shows ahead but tonights show gives you two of our favorite Djs so I do hope you all agree.

Well what can I say after months of wondering what sort of festival Noisily was going to be the psytrance networkshow went to find out .

Coming up this show some more great tunes also our review from Noisily and some fab pictures.

This week with have a few words with our ticket winner at Noisily and also their view of this event.

Our first mix up tonight is by one of my all time favorites Arjunna

Arjuna was born in the Himalayas in India in 1982 Ever since, he has had a unique and interesting journey through life. He grew up in Goa, the mecca of psy trance, where he saw the birth and evolution of this mystical genre.
Arjuna started collecting psytrance DATs and mini disks at a very early age. At the age of 19, he got his first shot behind the decks and there was no looking back.
Meeting with Giuseppe Parvati and Teo Discovalley gave Arjuna’s music taste a new direction – deep and purely psychedelic – and it was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened and Arjuna started experimenting with his own sounds with a Playstation game called Music 2000.
He  first observed friends working at the prestigious Discovalley studio (Chapora, Goa) and then sank into more serious programming and knob tweaking on cubase.
After proving his metal as a dj in Goa, Arjuna was signed by Parvati records to represent their sound as a label DJ. By this time he had also started to perform at partys and small festivals in and around Europe. His Dj sets are a mix of organic sounding groovy dancefloor shaking bombs produced by some of his favorite artists and friends – Atriohm, Farebi Jalebi, Jahbo, Syntax Error, Dronebixie, Onkel Dunkel,  Gidra, Encephalopaticys…. Since Goa was installed very early in Arjuna’s system, he always had a natural instinct to cast his spell and get people moving on the dance floors. In order to improve his own sounds, Arjuna took up an electronic music production course at S.A.E. and soon after, broke through with his very first release on Parvati records.
He has dedicated most of his time to develop and consolidate his own idea of psychedelic music. Together with his partner at the time (Seb), he made his nest in the epic Discovalley studio for a few years and his skills evolved leaps and bounds. His tracks are carefully crafted with a lot of precision and heart.

Now his sound is intense and groovy , a balanced combination of power and emotion. He incorporates tight percussive rythms, hypnotic atmospheres and colorful scapes to create deep stories that emit a raw energy to shake the forest and all the creatures living in it. Watching dancefloors errupt since an early age, has given Arjuna the dominion to make people close their eyes, forget the world and just dance till their knees wobble. The mystical vibe of goa flows through his creations, warmly touches the soul and leaves people with their hands up asking for more and more.

'Symbolic' established by Ilan Shemi & Oshry Ben Simon aka DJ Osho during the middle of the year 2011. Symbolic music style can be best described as, Psychedelic Progressive Trance, heavy fat bass lines, with mechanic rhythms and crunchy grooves, with main focus strictly for the dance floor. Since their first production together, they got incredible feedbacks from the dance floors all around the world and immediately the labels show their interest in working together with them. The first signings 'Crystal Clear' went on a compilation called 'Dance Computer' on 'Iboga Records', compiled by one of the world’s top Progressive Trance DJ’s / Producers, 'Ace Ventura'. Following 'Crystal Clear' was their remix for Ace Ventura & Rocky - Dr. Lupo on Echoes Records, which reached to number 1 on Beatport's Psy-Trance Downloads Chart for several weeks, and become an anthem on dance floors around the world. Two collaboration tracks, one with Liquid Soul called 'Different Reality' and one with Sphera called 'One Step Closer' released on Iboga Records double CD compilation 'Groove Attack' compiled by Liquid Soul. Successful collaboration with Easy Riders (Ace Ventura & Rocky) called 'Flashback' was released on HOMmega Productions.
In March 2013 Symbolic released their 'Prime Time' EP on Iboga Records, two tracker EP
Prime Time title track made together with Ace Ventura and a remix they made for Vertical Mode - Lazer Shot. Prime Time was chosen as Beatport's Top 10 Psy-Trance tracks of 2013.
During 2013 Symbolic compiled a compilation called 'Sacred Circuits' that was released in the end of the year as physical and digital CD on Zen Mechanics label Sourcecode Transmissions, the compilation include inside 9 exclusive tracks from great selection of artists such as, Zentura, Vertical Mode, Tristan, to name a few. And Symbolic collaboration with Zen Mechanics - Psychological Effects, and Symbolic remix for Sonic Species - Strictly Virtual.
Things are looking very interesting for 2014, including more releases to come, collaborations, remixes, and full studio album that will be followed

Biography

Behind the Ace Ventura project is Yoni Oshrat - one of Israels biggest talents in electronic music, with a career on top of the scene, stretching for over a decade. Already from an early age Yoni was heavily influenced with music.

He was born in a musical family with his father being a famous Israeli composer and song writer (for instance behind the Eurovision song "Halelujah"), and it was there
fore no surprise that he went for a career in the sound-business; at first in the TV and movie-industry as a sound producer.

After discovering the blooming trance-scene in the beginning of the nineties, he started DJ'ing and teamed up with his friend DJ Goblin to form the psychedelic trance project Children Of The Doc, which later changed name to PSYSEX. Together they released 3 critically-acclaimed full length albums on HOMmega Productons, and played a big part in establishing Israel as one of the most important trance-countries on the globe.

After several years of intense touring, playing at some of the biggest parties and festivals worldwide, Yoni's taste moved more and more towards the slower, groovier side of music though, and from 2006 he took the decision to leave the Psysex project and form the two soloprojects SCHATSI and ACE VENTURA. With Schatsi he was quickly featured on labels like Hadshot and Mylo's Breastfed Recordings, and top DJ's like John Digweed played some of his material on numerous occasions. More attention was put into the Ace Ventura project though, and using a fusion of the hard, pumping dancefloor-oriented style from Psysex and the deeper, groovier influences of progressive trance, the Ace Ventura project became a big success, and in a matter of just a few releases, such as the now classic debut "Cardiac Arrest", he was already considered among the top producers on the progressive trance scene.

After appearing on releases on labels like Flow, Echoes, Blue Tunes, Spintwist, HOMmega and Iboga Records he finally released his debut solo album "Rebirth" in 2007, which was without a doubt one of the biggest releases of the year. It resulted in Ace Ventura winning the Psytrance category at the Beatport Music Awards in 2008.
About one year later the album was followed by a remix album "Re:Boot", which contained two CD's with remixes by various progressive trance, house, electro house and techno artists. This release, together with the release of "The Spark", the summer anthem remix of FREq's "Short Life Again" as well as a collaborations with various artists - also resulted in Ace Ventura winning the Psytrance category at the Beatport Music Awards in 2009, For the second year in a row. Recently releases such as 'Inside us' (together with Timelock) and the Interactive noise remix for the classic tune 'Presence' have reached the first place in the Beatport psytrance charts.

Despite playing all around the globe, at major events from Boom in Portugal, XXXPerience, Tribe and Universo Paralello in Brazil, Solstice in Japan, Glade in the UK ,Ozora in Hungary to Indian Spirit, Tshitraka, Antaris and Full Moon in Germany, Yoni isn't resting on the laurels – Working on other projects such as EASY RIDERS – together with fellow friend and partner Roy Tilbor (aka Rocky) – as well as on the newborn project ZENTURA, together with Wouter Thomassesn (aka Zen Mechanics) and last but not least, on the longtime collaboration LIQUID ACE, together with Nicola Capobianco (aka Liquid soul).

Besides producing tracks for various labels, Yoni complied a few successfull compilations, namely the 'New order' series for HOMmega records, which was the first progressive release of the label, as well as 'Digital beings' for Echoes records. Recently he compiled the double CD 'Dance Computer' for Iboga records, and now the 3rd chapter of the 'New order' series is ready to be unleashed as well. These days, final work is underway on the 2nd Ace Ventura album – 'Paradise engineering' – to be released by the end of the year on Iboga records

...I discovered psy trance in 2002 through my mate Ash (Celtic Psy forum keymaster/Psilocybe Tribe(prev.k/a DossePosse)), after 25 years of northern soul & 2 years of techno !
I began accumulating tunes, going to club nights-Alien Resonance/Sunrise/U.V/Kulu/Cabbage & outdoor psy parties in North Wales.
I never set out to be a dj, I just wanted to hear my taste in psy trance. I began by playing a few tunes @ the end of outdoor parties when everyone else was too wasted to play.
Then, based on my enthusiasm & taste, (I think !?) Bez23(Kulu) asked me if I was up for playing @ Kulu (Bradford May 2005) WoW-my chance to play my favourite tunes. I wasn't gonna turn that chance down just because I couldn't dj !
I had 2 months to get to grips with the mechanics of dj ing, anyway its the tunes that count !!
It's been & still is a slow but interesting learning curve this dj malarkey. But, hey I'm enjoying it & for as long as they keep making tickety boo tunes that make me move I'll keep wanting to play them.
Thanks to Ash (celtic psy forum admin/psilocybe tribe & good friend) for getting me hooked on psy trance, for letting me practice on his cdj1000's and for sorting me my own decks & mixer.

Our second dj tonight gives us a full-on mix between our two progressive sets is Dj Psylas from the UK as yet unsigned but not for long we think.

Dj Psylas( Silas )I first came across psytrance at the age of 15yrs when I went to a psilocybe Tribe forest party in North Wales that where is all started.
I was bought a set of CDJ 100'S and a pioneer djm300s for my 16th birthday I had one quick lesson from Ash Penter Elf then I just started to try and mix tunes
I started Djing a some of the early faeriepirates party's in the forest's and really enjoyed the buzz. Since then I have played at Psilocybe tribe Waveform/Cosmo in the underground yurt, Trbalshere, Shanti, Trpicity, the Black pearl.psykaboomka faerie pirates samhain. shanti I hope to be able to start making my own tunes soon.So if you like what I do have a listen out for me.

 Our 3rd mix up tonight is Ele'pho (LFO) from France finishing this weeks show with some nice up beat tunes.

Anthony Gence was born in France in 1982 and from an early age music andits environment attracted him. After spending years listening to pop and rockwhile learning Guitar, in 2000 his artistic universe changed to the directionof electronic music. House music was one of his first steps, DJing in clubs,leading to his discovery of trance music festivals, which later became hispassion. In 2011, his first musical output appeared with the song 4U on a vinylrecord for Incorporated records.
Since that first Elepho tracks were releases he has been to play thefour corners of France as a producer and deejay, and appeared in compilationsalongside the biggest global artists in Progressive trance. https://soundcloud.com/elepho
