The faeriepirates presents its first UK Dj competition sponsored by the psytrance network show.

There will be four heats across the UK at various venues or festivals. Each heat two Dj's will be selected to gone on to the final this will take place at the Blackpearl 2015 where a winner will be selected. There are many prizes on offer and will end in a chance to work with a well known psytrance label.The winner will also get a interview and there tunes played on the psytrance network show.
We have managed to secure some top sponsorship within the psytrance world.
The Dj competition will be held at The Blackpearl Party 2015

I play Progressive Psytrance, Psytrance, Full-On & Deep Psychedelic Trance under the name Psychosomasis and Ambient, PsyChill/Downtempo Psychedelic Trance under a name Instant Euphory.. I also run my own events in Burnley (UK) together with Psylex called ''Euphoria'' and ''Psychedelic Vibrations''where we play all kind of ''intelligent'' Psychedelic Trance music.
Our third mix up tonight is 
DJ Bahar Canca is a colourful personality
, a crowd pleaser, and life and soul of the party whether 
she is behind the decks or the dance floor. A playing 
style described as electro-infused tech house and 
techno-funk, and a sensual attitude, are both the 
measure of the music and the girl.
Originally from Turkey, Bahar Canca is now one of 
London’s most exiting female DJs leaving a lasting 
impression on the world of dance music. Arriving in 
London to study film in the mid-nineties, she was soon 
fascinated by the kaleidoscopic dance scene, the 
number of genres of electronic music, and the 
extraordinary manner in which the music removes 
boundaries between a diversity of people. Inspired in 
this environment, and by the power that positive 
energy has in bringing people together, so DJ Bahar 
Canca was born out of the simple need to share the 
music she loved with others.

Earthdance International promotes global peace, sustainability and social justice through an international online community and network of event producers participating in an annual multi-location music and peace festival. Attendees at all events take part in a synchronised Prayer for Peace, and join in a common celebration of community, collaboration and evolution toward a Culture of Peace through the universal languages of music, art and dance
In commemoration of this special event i have prepared this mix as a contribution to their mission.

 Our third mix up tonight is by producers Easy riders

Biography
After a while pursuing their solo careers, the two israeli trance-maestros Yoni Oshrat (also known as Ace Ventura) and Roy Tilbor (also known as Rocky) have joined together to form the new project Easy Riders.

Yoni was earlier a part of the successful projects Children Of The Doc and PsySex, releasing no less than 3 critically acclaimed psychedelic trance albums on HOMmega Productions. With the launch of his progressive solo project Ace Ventura, his career took a dramatic turn though, resulting in bookings weekly at the biggest parties and festivals around the world, as well as appearing on labels like Iboga Records, HOMmega, Flow, Iono , Echoes & Blue Tunes - all crowned with his now classic debut solo-album “Rebirth”, released on Iboga Records in 2007 – which later was followed by the well received remix album "Re:boot". These days he is working on his second artist album, "Paradise engineering".
Roy has been a part of the global electronic scene for the better part of 15 years, and as a label-DJ for Chemical Crew he was touring the world, rocking crowds with intense, full on trance music. Like Yoni, Roy also got caught up with the slower, groovier progressive music though, and in 2007 he released his debut album “A Thread Of Light”. Overnight this release, followed by appearances on labels like Iboga Records, Blue Tunes, Plusquam and Phonokol, made him one of the most sought-after DJ and liveacts on the progressive scene, and his second album ("Keyboard wipeout" on Echoes records) cemented his name as a master of phat grooves and atmosphere.

Together, Yoni and Rocky are Easy Riders – combining over 30 years of experience in the global electronic scene; from the new, psychedelic high of the 90’s, to the full on party music after the millennium, to the progressive and techy rhythms of later years; Easy Riders is here to fuse it all into a powerful, delightful mix of great party-music.
Their first release was the track 'Test Drive', which was released on a compilation on Iboga Records, compiled by one of the world’s top DJ’s, John ‘00’ Fleming.
Follwing Test drive was the EP on Plastik park - titled 'Midnight breakfast' (including Lish & Spartaque remixes), and the track 'High spirits' on Hadra records.
Summer 2010 saw the release of the first compilation by Easy Riders, titled 'Digital beings', and then came their landmark release; mixing dubstep and progressive trance for the first time in the psytrance scene - 'Easy dubsteps ep' became their most successful release, and featured the Captain Hook remix, which became a huge party hit.

After signing in HOMmega records in late 2011, they released the successful 'Flashback' ep. Next came the latest chapter in the now famed compilation series on HOMmega – 'NEW ORDER 3' featured tracks from Astrix, Zentura, Symbolic, Rocky and the riders themselves.

Up next is the RELOADED ep, featuring 3 brand new tracks including a collaboration with Captain Hook and a remix to the classic goa track RELOAD by Deedrah.

Tonights show brings you some fab tunes for the weekend

The psytrance networkshow has been going now for18mths and getting even more air play our audience just keeps growing. We are working on putting together an events page each week we can list your event for free if you would like a mention on the show we can let peeps know whats happening in your area.

Our first dj'producer up on the show tonight is Gaudium with his lastest mix really enjoy the flow of the journey wicked set many thanks for letting us play on the show.

2004 was the year that two old friends, Andreas and Denis, decided to hit the studio to have some fun. After a couple of days the first tune was created and they were both very happy with the result. They decided to continue making music together and so Gaudium was born. Gaudium is the Latin word for satisfaction which is basically what music should be to the ears.

Both Andreas and Denis have been involved in several music projects before they decided to start producing together. At the end of 2004 the Swedish record label Spiral Trax heard a Gaudium track that really caught their attention and that became the start of the first album Nordic Nature. The album was released during the summer 2005 and received great reviews from both fans and critics all over the world, some even claiming it to be the best progressive release of the year (!)

The year after the album was released turned out to be a very productive time for Gaudium and they released tracks on labels like Flow, Plusquam, Sinn-Tech and Yellow Sunshine Explosion. Remixes on tracks by artists like Ace Ventura, Sensifeel, Visua and Symphonix were also made. 

Our 2nd dj/producer up tonight is Symbolica


Ron Stern, musical producer born in Israel in the city of Rishon-Lezion, is known as the founder of the world-renowned project SYMBOLICO. Or Ron began his musical life at the age of 13 when he first listened to psytrance music artists such as: Juno-Reactor, Infected mushroom, Sun project, Goa Gil, Raja Ram, Simon Posford and many more. As a kid, psytrance music was a portal for flying with his imagination to long distances. It did not take long till he realized that he has a message to send to the world as a musical expression. Until the age of 21, Or Ron took his musical life only as a hobby; working on trance projects such as the PSYCHOPET on Impulse tracker and Propellorheads Reason sequencers.
At last, 22-year-old Or Ron decided to take it to the next level and go further and deeper into the world of sound and production. It was a turning point when he realized that psytrance alone is not satisfying enough for his colorful, mosaic-like spirit. He began to learn different types of musical genres beginning from the funky, and sometimes glitchy, world of hip hop; to the jazzy world of swing, the groovy sounds of dub, to the ethereal planes of downtempo psychedelic music. Upon the discovery of this new musical portal, the Indigo Child project (the first Symbolico) was born. What is better than a psychedelic project??? - A psychedelic project that lets you move your ass with its sexy rhythm. Indigo child was all about creating those funky Breakbeats with psytrance influences, mixing them with samples from the world of pop.
With time and self-development, the project “SYMBOLICO: Universal Knowledge Decoded Musically” was born.
The timeless and limitless realm of being was a doorway for Or Ron; a doorway of creativity, the same portal which opened at the very beginning when Or Ron listened to psytrance as a child; this portal is what UNIVERSAL KNOWLEDGE DECODED MUSICALLY is all about: a musical expression of a higher level of knowledge. It’s a type of knowledge one stores in the heart rather than the mind.
Or Ron: “For me music is an experience. Good music is an experience which continues even after the music itself is already over”.

 Lorraine was one of the very first psytrance dj's I heard in a forest in Wales and she still is one of my all time favorites she continues to get the dance floor going .
